The EIA reported a draw of 5,836 MBbls in U.S. crude-oil inventories. The draw was larger than the median estimate of -1,100 MBbls as reported by Bloomberg.
Inventories for the U.S. are now at a deficit of 44.60 MMBbls (-9.7%) to last year, and a deficit of 51.40 MMBbls (-11.0%) to the five-year average.
