Chris is an Associate for the firm’s trading division, where he is responsible for trading strategy and execution. His role involves working closely to support our customers regarding the factors that may impact commodity prices. Prior to joining AEGIS, Chris spent seventeen years as an energy commodities broker on the Choice Energy Services ERCOT / PJM desks. Before this role, Chris worked as a power trader at Duke, Calpine, and BP. Chris brings a proven ability to drive market performance through opportunity identification, negotiation, procurement, and deal execution, as well as the ability to cultivate and manage relationships for a diverse customer base, including oil and gas trading firms, investment banks, hedge funds, power generators, utilities, and power marketers.
Chris has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed Series 3 Commodity Broker with the National Futures Association. Outside the office, Chris is a surfer and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
